Toastmasters has been a stepping stone in my life, I never imagined myself speaking confidently in front of an audience and creating an impact after that, but Toastmasters made me do that and helped me become an assertive person as I feel I am today.
Being a part of Toastmasters family not only taught me speaking, but also taught listening thoroughly, which is very important in today’s accelerating world.

To start with!! Why Toastmasters? It was not a place of relaxation when i was stressed nor a stress buster. Some say just wanted to try what it will be, felt intresting thus continued or just droped off. For me it was a club where i really wanted to join, start learning and just start Implementing the same.
Its just the beginning, there is lot more to go, experience and impliment. The Ganges to be full flowing river in the whole of north india, its starts from Gangotri and passes between the ranges, over the small rocks forming a small stream of water to the full flowing river. Have just taken a step as a part of going forward to be the Vice President - Public Relations (VP - PR) for this term of office berares. Following this have a lot more to achive and showcase the talent and knowledge gained through this journey.

I have been in Toastmasters since 8 months and trust me it's not just a club, it's a family were you get to meet a lot of new folks who provide you the best platform to improve your personality and to learn a lot of new things including team work and to bring the best of you. This club has helped me to improve my impromptu skills to a great extent and am thankful to the table topic session held in each meeting. I have been an Associate VPM for the last four months and the experience of being an office bearer has been truly amazing, it's just helped me to improve my persuasive skills and improve my networks. As it's said, change is the only constant of life, joining Toastmasters has been best thing I have ever did it for myself.

For me toastmasters is like a sweet escape from my otherwise monotonous mundane life. I joined it for the sake of improving my communication skills and to get better at public speaking but this club has given me much more than that, friends for lifetime, wonderful connections and a confidence boost, are to name a few. It's difficult to imagine my life without toastmasters because it has changed me as a person, for better. I'm heartily thankful to this community for accepting me with open arms.

Having joined Infosys Toastmasters Mangalore a month ago, the journey has been welcoming and overwhelming.

A Toastmaster meeting can boost your confidence to another level - be it while taking up a role or even during the Table Topics Session. I have even felt it while attending a meeting as a guest.
Looking forward to an exciting rollercoaster ride ahead and improve myself in every way possible.
